No PCM Messages Received

Possible Causes are:

  1. Using the DRBIII(R), erase DTCs. Cycle the ignition and wait approximately 1 minute. Using the DRBIII(R), read DTCs. Did this DTC reset? If yes, go to next step. If no, the condition is not present at this time. Monitor DRBIII(R) parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Refer to any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connector terminals. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using the DRBIII(R), enter Body Computer, System Tests, then PCM Monitor. Does the DRBIII(R) display PCM ACTIVE ON THE BUS? If yes, replace the EVIC. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, diagnose using appropriate procedure. See COMMUNICATION  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
