VTSS Does Not Trip From Liftgate

Possible Causes are:

• CHECK DRBIII(R) FOR LIFTGATE SW RESPONSE
• BCM NO VTSS TRIP FROM LIFTGATE

Using the DRBIII(R), read the LIFTGATE SW status. Open the liftgate. Does the DRBIII(R) display CLOSED? If yes, replace the Body Control Module. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, go to LIFTGATE AJAR CIRCUIT OPEN  under DOOR AJAR. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
