Cluster Bus Transmit Shutdown

Monitored & Set Condition

1. When Monitored: With the ignition in the Run/Start position.
2. Set Condition: The Instrument Cluster detects loss of internal bus transmission for 4 seconds.

Testing

1. With the DRBIII(R), erase DTCs. Cycle the ignition and wait approximately one minute. With the DRBIII(R), read DTCs. Did this DTC reset? If yes, replace the Instrument Cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - LIBERTY article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If no, test is complete.
