Driver Door Does Not Trip VTSS

Possible Causes:

• Driver Door Ajar Circuit
• Body Control Module

Testing

NOTE: The VTSS must arm properly for the result of this test to be valid.
1. With the DRBIII(R), read the DRVR DOOR AJAR SW status. Open the driver door. Does the DRBIII(R) display CLOSED? If yes, replace the Body Control Module. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)  . Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If no, see DRIVER DOOR AJAR CIRCUIT OPEN  in DOOR AJAR. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST  .
