PCM Message Not Received By MIC

Possible Causes:

Testing

  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, ensure instrument cluster communication. Using scan tool, select BODY, ELECTRO/MECH CLUSTER, then read DTCs. If PCM MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED BY MIC is displayed, go to NO RESPONSE FROM POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCI BUS)  under COMMUNICATIONS. If PCM MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED BY MIC is not displayed, test is complete.
