ABS Indicator Inoperative

NOTE: ABS indicator will not illuminate during instrument cluster self test. Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) will command indicator on when ignition is cycled from Run to Start.

Possible Causes:

Testing

  1. Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If any ABS DTCs exist, diagnose and repair ABS DTCs first. If no ABS DTCs exist, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
