Foglight Indicator Inoperative
NOTE:
Ensure foglights operate before performing test. Low beam headlights must be selected during test.
Possible Causes:
- Fog Lamp Indicator Circuit Open
- Instrument Cluster
Testing
- Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn on headlights (low beam) and foglights. Using test light connected to ground, probe instrument cluster harness connector C1 terminal No. 6 (Light Blue wire). If test light illuminates brightly, replace instrument cluster. If test light does not illuminate brightly, repair open or poor connection on Light Blue wire.
