A/C COMPRESSOR






NOTE: Typical A/C compressor shown.

The A/C system on models equipped with the 3.0L, 3.7L and 4.7L engine use the Denso 10S17 A/C compressor. Models equipped with the 5.7L engine and front A/C only use the Denso 10SRE18 A/C compressor. Models equipped with the 5.7L engine and front and rear A/C use the Denso 10SRE20 A/C compressor.

All A/C compressors (1) are ten cylinder, double-acting swash plate-type compressors with both the suction and discharge ports (2) located on the cylinder head (3) at the rear of the compressor.

A label identifying the use of R-134a refrigerant is located on the A/C compressor.
