Throttle Body: Installation: 3.7L

Check condition of throttle body-to-intake manifold O-ring. Replace as necessary.
Clean mating surfaces of throttle body and intake manifold.
Install O-ring between throttle body and intake manifold.
Position throttle body (1) to intake manifold.
Install all throttle body mounting bolts (2) finger tight.

CAUTION: The throttle body mounting bolts MUST be tightened to specifications. Over tightening can cause damage to the throttle body or the intake manifold.
Obtain a torque wrench. Tighten mounting bolts (as shown in illustration) in a mandatory torque crisscross pattern sequence to 7.5 N.m (65 in. lbs.).

Install electrical connector (3).
Install necessary vacuum lines.
Install air cleaner duct at throttle body.
Connect negative battery cable.
Using the diagnostic scan tool, erase all previous DTC's and perform the ETC Relearn function.
