CAUTION:

The accelerator pedal and mounting nuts need to be torque in a mandatory torque sequence or damage could result to the pedal assembly.

Install the accelerator pedal and mounting nuts to the mounting studs. Tighten the nuts in a mandatory torque sequence to 16 N.m (12 ft. lbs.).
Connect the electrical connector from accelerator pedal.
Connect negative battery cable, tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
Use a scan tool and perform the APPS RELEARN function.
