Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the ECC to the RDA.
2. Install the ECC bolts and tighten to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).
3. Lift driveline module (1)(Figure 1) with a transmission jack (3) while installing both axles.





4. Connect breather hose to ECC.
5. Connect the electrical connector (1).
6. Install wire harness bracket and two mounting bolt and tighten to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).





7. Lift driveline module (1) into place.





8. Install the two driveline module side mounting bolts (1)(Figure 4) and tighten to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.).





9. Install the one rear driveline module mounting bolt (1)(Figure 5) and tighten to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.).





10. Install right side stay bracket and tighten bolts (1) (Figure 6)to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).





11. Install left side stay bracket and tighten bolts (1) (Figure 7)to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
12. Install the propeller shaft Propeller Shaft - Installation
13. Fill the rear axle with fluid.





14. Roll sway bar (2) into place (Figure 8) (if equipped).





15. Install left side sway bar nut (1) (if equipped) and tighten to (61 Nm (45 ft. lbs). (Figure 9)





16. Install right side sway bar nut (1) (if equipped) and tighten to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs). (Figure 10)
