Conventional Procedure
- Disconnect the fuel supply line quick-connect fitting at the fuel filter. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - QUICK-CONNECT FITTINGS . .
- Install the appropriate Fuel Line Adapters / Fitting from the (special tool #8978A, Decay Tool, Fuel). Route the opposite end of this hose to an diesel fuel draining station. Using a scan tool, activate the fuel pump and drain the tank until empty.
