Heater, Engine Block: Installation: 6.4L

Thoroughly clean cylinder block core hole and block heater seat.
Insert block heater assembly (2) into the block.
With block heater fully seated, tighten bolt (3) to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.) torque.
Connect power cord to block heater.

Install the starter (1). Refer to STARTER, INSTALLATION .
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable.
