Sensor, Coolant Temperature: Installation: 3.6L

1. Apply sealant to ECT sensor threads (new replacement ECT sensors will have sealant already applied).
2. Install ECT sensor (2) into intake manifold. Tighten to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.) torque.
3. Connect electrical connector (1).

4. Install the drivers side front inner wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Fill cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
