Tube, Water Inlet: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the thermostat housing assembly. Refer to THERMOSTAT, REMOVAL .
- Remove the lower oil cooler supply hose (4) located below the water inlet tube (5).
- Remove the water inlet tube mounting bolts (1).
- Remove the water inlet tube from the backside of the water pump and discard O-ring seal.
