Sensor, Fuel Tank Pressure: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle

    Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  3. Remove the right rear wheel house splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor harness connector (1).
  5. Disconnect the quick connect fittings (2).
  6. Disengage the recirculation line from the retaining clip (3) and remove.
