Removal And Installation: 2.4L: Removal

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the intake air temperature sensor (2).
3. Rotate the intake air temperature sensor 1/4 turn counter clockwise and remove the sensor from the clean air hose.
4. The sensor O-ring seal can be reused if not damaged.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the intake air temperature sensor into the clean air housing and rotate to lock into place.
2. Connect the electrical connection.
3. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
