Removal And Installation: Removal
NOTE:
LHD shown, RHD similar.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the floor console trim. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Working in front of the transmission shifter control (1a), disconnect the neutral position sensor (1c) wire harness connector (1b).
- Release the retainers (2a) and remove the sensor (1c) by lifting. If necessary, insert a suitable tool under the bottom of the sensor and apply light pressure to disengage the sensor from the seat.
