Removal And Installation: 2.4L: Installation
- Install new O-rings (1) onto the fuel injector.
- Apply a small amount of engine oil to each fuel injector O-ring. This will help with the fuel rail installation.
- Install the fuel injector(s) (3) into the fuel rail and install the retainer clip(s) (2).
- Install the fuel rail assembly. Refer to RAIL, FUEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
- Use the scan tool to pressurize the fuel system. Check for leaks.
