Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

Before proceeding. Refer to FRONT, WARNING .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the front strut. Refer to STRUT, SUSPENSION, ASSEMBLY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Using a Brannick 7600 spring compressor or equivalent compress the spring (5).
  4. Remove the strut rod nut (1).
  5. Remove the strut upper mount (2).
  6. Remove the jounce bumper (3).
  7. Remove the boot (4).
  8. Remove from the spring (5).
