Outlet, Power, Universal Serial Bus: Removal
NOTE:
Take the proper precautions to protect the center floor console rear panel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the center floor console rear panel (1) from the center floor console using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent.
- Remove the fasteners (1) securing the center floor console rear HVAC duct (2).NOTE:
If the foam seal on the center console rear HVAC duct is deformed or damaged, a new seal must be installed.
- Disconnect the wiring harness connectors and remove the center floor console rear panel.
- Release the power USB outlet retaining tabs (1) and remove the outlet from center floor console rear panel (2).
