Sensor, Crankshaft Position: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the flexplate. Refer to the appropriate service information .

  3. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor wiring harness connector (1).

  4. Remove the bolts (1) attaching the harness connector bracket (2) to the oil pan.

  5. Remove the bolt (1) and the CKP sensor (2).
