Sensor, Oxygen: Installation

  1. Install the oxygen sensor (1) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.).

  2. Attach the oxygen sensor wire harness retainers (4) and connector (3) to the bracket (1).
  3. Connect the oxygen sensor harness connector (2).
  4. Install the cowl extension silencer and the side extensions. Refer to SILENCER, COWL EXTENSION, INSTALLATION .

  5. Install the engine cover (1).
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
  7. Using the scan tool, perform Oxygen Sensor Reset  function found under ENGINE MISC. FUNCTIONS.
