Sensor, Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map): Removal: 3.6L
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL
.
- Disconnect the Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor wire connector (1).
- Rotate the MAP sensor (1) 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull the sensor straight up and out of the upper intake manifold.
- The MAP sensor O-ring can be reused if not damaged.
