3.0L Diesel

  1. Install the cooling fan assembly into the vehicle and engage both retaining tabs (1).

  2. Connect the cooling fan wire harness connector (1).

  3. Install the upper shroud cover (1). Apply pressure downwards until the cover snaps into place past the clip (2).
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  5. Install the lower cooling fan closeout panel (1) by applying pressure until the cover snaps into place on the cooling fan shroud.
  6. Install the front skid plate. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

  8. Install the resonator and bracket assembly. Tighten the bolts (1) to 10 N. m (89 in. lbs.).

  9. Install the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) hoses (1) and securely tighten the hose clamps (2).

  10. Install the engine cover (1).
  11. Connect the negative battery cable.
