Fan, Cooling: Installation: 6.2L
- Install the upper shroud cover (1). Apply pressure downward until the cover snaps into place past the clips (2).
- Install the cooling fan assembly into the vehicle.
- Guide the fan/shroud cover assembly into position between the radiator and upper core support.
- Position the cooling fan assembly on the mounts (3) located on the radiator.
- Lock the fan (1) assembly into place by pressing down firmly on the shroud until the locks (3) engage.
- Connect the electric fan wire harness connector (2).
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Install the lower cooling shroud cover by applying upward pressure until the cover snaps into place on the cooling fan shroud.
- If equipped, install the lower engine cover.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the front section of the A/C liquid line (3) to the rear section of the A/C liquid line (1).
- Install the nut (2) that secures the two sections of the A/C liquid line together. Tighten the nut to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the bolt (2) that secures the A/C liquid line support bracket (3) to the upper radiator support (1). Tighten the bolt securely.
- Evacuate the refrigerant system. Adjust the refrigerant oil level. Charge the refrigerant system. Refer to PLUMBING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Install the air intake assembly.
- Start the engine and check fan operation.
