5.7L / 6.4L
- Apply MOPAR® thread sealant with PFTE to the sensor threads.
- Install the coolant temperature sensor (2) into the water pump housing.
- Tighten the coolant temperature sensor to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS GAS .
- Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (3).
- Install the air intake system. For 5.7L refer to INSTALLATION , or for 6.4L Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION .
