Sensor, Crankshaft Position: Installation
- Install the crankshaft position sensor and tighten the screw (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the wire harness connection (1) to the crankshaft position sensor.
- Install the starter. Refer to STARTER, INSTALLATION .
NOTE:
The Cam/Crank Variation Relearn procedure must be performed using the scan tool anytime there has been a repair/replacement made to a powertrain system, for example: flywheel, valvetrain, camshaft and/or crankshaft sensors or components. Refer to 2.0L, POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST or 2.4L, POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
