Removal And Installation: Installation
- If equipped with KIN in the steering column shroud, install the KIN to the lower steering column shroud. Refer to MODULE, KEYLESS IGNITION NODE (KIN), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Position the upper steering column shroud near Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and engage the gap hider to the pegs on the upper steering column shroud.
- Position the upper steering column shroud to the steering column then install and tighten the two upper steering column shroud screws.
- If equipped with KIN in the steering column shroud, position the lower steering column shroud near the steering column and connect the KIN wire harness connector (1).
- Align the lower steering column shroud (3) to the upper steering column shroud (2) and press the two together to engage plastic lock tabs.
- Install and tighten the three lower steering column shroud screws (1).
- Install the steering column shroud close out tab (1) by pressing it down firmly into the steering column shroud to engage the plastic lock tabs.
