Switch Monitor Function

  1. Individual switches can be inspected through the Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located center rear of engine compartment. Connect a jumper wire between Ground terminal (Black wire) and ENG TEST terminal (Light Green/Yellow wire) of DLC. Connect positive lead of DVOM to positive battery terminal.
  2. Connect negative lead of DVOM to ENG MON terminal (White/Green wire) of DLC. Ensure all accessories are off, transmission is in Neutral and all pedals are released. Turn ignition on with engine off.
  3. Observe voltmeter and operate each switch as indicated. See Fig 1 . If voltage is not as specified, replace switch.
