Engine Compression

Check engine compression with engine at normal operating temperature at specified cranking speed, all spark plugs removed, and throttle wide open.

Sephia (1) 193 psi (1331 kPa)
Sportage (1) 164 psi (1131 kPa)
(1) Specification is with engine speed at 300 RPM (Sephia) or 250 RPM (Sportage).
