Clearing Trouble Codes

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES DIAGNOSIS




After repair procedure
1. Erase the DTCs from ECM memory using the Scan Tool, or by disconnecting the negative battery cable for at least twenty seconds.
2. Locate the OBD-II DLC and connect the Scan Tool.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Start and warm engine, then run at 2,000 rpm for three minutes.
5. Verify that no DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) are recorded.
6. If DTCs are recorded, Refer to Diagnostic trouble codes.
