Code Retrieval

Codes can only be retrieved using a diagnostic scan tool. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Connect scan tool to 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC), located below left side of instrument panel, near center console. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes. Once all codes have been displayed by scan tool, see ABS DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)  table for identification of affected component or circuit.

NOTE: If no diagnostic trouble codes are displayed on scan tool, but ABS warning light is illuminated, check for system wiring harness malfunction or low brake fluid level. See ABS WARNING LIGHT IS ON, BUT NO DTC IS OUTPUT  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
ABS DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)

5103  ABS Control Unit Voltage Malfunction (Too High Or Too Low)
5200  LF Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Or Connection Malfunction
5201  LF Wheel Speed Sensor Shorted Sensor Coil Or Wiring, Damaged Sensor Rotor, Incorrect Air Gap
5202 (2) LF Wheel Speed Sensor Missing Signal, Missing Sensor Rotor, Air Gap Too Large
5203  RF Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Or Connection Malfunction
5204 (2) RF Wheel Speed Sensor Shorted Sensor Coil Or Wiring, Damaged Sensor Rotor, Incorrect Air Gap
5205 (2) RF Wheel Speed Sensor Missing Signal, Missing Sensor Rotor, Air Gap Too Large
5206  LR Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Or Connection Malfunction
5207  LR Wheel Speed Sensor Shorted Sensor Coil Or Wiring, Damaged Sensor Rotor, Incorrect Air Gap
5208 (3) LR Wheel Speed Sensor Missing Signal, Missing Sensor Rotor, Air Gap Too Large
5209  RR Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Or Connection Malfunction
5210 (3) RR Wheel Speed Sensor Shorted Sensor Coil Or Wiring, Damaged Sensor Rotor, Incorrect Air Gap
5211 (3) RR Wheel Speed Sensor Missing Signal, Missing Sensor Rotor, Air Gap Too Large
5604  ABS Control Unit Internal Circuit Or Connection Malfunction
6112  ABS Main Fuse & HCU Wiring Malfunction
6114  HCU Inlet Or Outlet Valve Malfunction
6402  HCU Pump Motor Malfunction Or Low Hydraulic Pressure
