Oil Filter: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT OF THE ENGINE OIL FILTER
1. Replace the oil filter at every oil change.
2. Use a filter wrench (available commercially) to remove the oil filter.
3. Drain the oil in the filter.




4. Lightly coat the O-ring (1) of the new oil filter with engine oil, and install the filter by hand.
