Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

FUEL TANK PRESSURE SENSOR
The fuel tank pressure sensor is a pressure sensitive variable resistor that measures the change of pressure in the fuel tank to monitor for leaks. It is used in the EVAP leak test monitoring with the canister close and purge solenoid valves.


INSPECTION
Check that fuel level is over 15%. If not, this inspection is not available.

Note :The vehicle must be running and at idle.
