Window Motor Regulator Assembly: Installation

  1. Install glass guide and one bolt loosely. Install window motor regulator assembly through access hole in door. Tighten regulator mounting nuts to 80-115 INCH lbs. (9-13 N.m). Reconnect window motor harness connector.
  2. Install window glass by tilting toward hinge side of door. Place glass on small bracket on window regulator. Loosely install 2 window-to-regulator bolts. Reconnect window switch and negative battery cable.
  3. Turn ignition on and operate window up and down to ensure correct operation. Tighten window-to-regulator bolts to 18-27 INCH lbs. (2-3 N.m). Tighten glass guide bolt to 80-115 INCH lbs. (9-13 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
