Window Motor Regulator Assembly: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove door trim by removing speaker garnish. Remove door handle cover, screw and cover. Remove door handle pull screw and door handle. Remove caps and screw located on left side of door trim. Unfasten and lift door trim. Remove door trim and disconnect power window switch connector.
  2. Remove pull handle bracket and door speaker. Carefully peel back plastic water shield. Temporarily reconnect window switch and negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch to ON position and lower window about halfway. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 2 glass-mounting bolts from window regulator.
  3. Remove window glass carefully by tilting it toward hinge side of door and removing from outer side of door frame. Disconnect power window motor harness connector. Remove regulator-to-door frame nuts. Remove window motor regulator assembly from access hole in door. Unbolt and remove glass guide and bolt.
