Auto-Down Feature Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter connected to ground, backprobe Blue/Red wire at master power window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Completely depress left front control button, then release to activate auto-down mode. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, or changes to zero volts before window is fully lowered, replace master power window switch. Retest system.
  2. Repeat step  1 while checking for battery voltage between Blue/Red wire and Blue/Yellow wire at master power window switch. If battery voltage exists, system is okay. If battery voltage does not exist, or changes to zero volts before window is fully lowered, replace master power window switch and retest system.
