Manual Reprogramming Procedure

1. Turn ignition key to the "ON" position.

2. Turn Hi-Scan Pro on and select "10. OPTIMA 2.5/2.7 BATTERY DRAIN" and press the "ENTER" key.





3. Select "02. MS 2.5/2.7 BATTERY DRAIN [ERROR]" and press the "ENTER" key.





4. Select model year from the list and press the "ENTER" key.








5. At the prompt, enter your password from the password table and press the "ENTER" key.





6. Manual reprogramming will proceed as shown.





7. When "REPROGRAMMING COMPLETED" message is displayed, turn ignition key to the "OFF" position. Turn Hi-Scan Pro off and disconnect from vehicle.

8. Start engine and verify normal operation.
