Anti-Lock Braking System Control Module: Installation
- Install the hydraulic control unit bracket to vehicle and tighten the bracket bolts.
Tightening torque: 14-18 lb.ft (19-25 N.m, 1.9-2.5 kg.m)
- Lower Hydraulic Control Unit into position and tighten its mounting screws to specification.
Tightening torque: 6-7 lb.ft (8-10 N.m, 0.8-1.0 kg.m)
- Reconnect six brake lines. Be certain that the four lower outlet lines have been connected to the correct ports. Tighten the nuts to specification.
Tightening torque: 9-16 lb.ft (12-22 N.m, 1.3-2.2 kg.m)
- To hydraulic control unit and connect Hydraulic Control Unit connector. Be certain connectors are fully mated.
- Install the main fuse box bracket and tighten the bracket bolts.
- Bleed the brake system. See BLEEDING in DISC & DRUM article.
