Fuel Pressure Regulator: Removal
WARNING:
Fuel is explosive. An empty fuel tank can still contain explosive gases. Supply adequate ventilation to the work area. Do not smoke and keep sparks and open flames away. Purge fumes from the tank as soon as possible.
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove rear seat cushion.
- Disconnect fuel delivery module connector.
- Remove three screws attaching access cover.
- Remove rubber grommet and wires from access cover and remove access cover.
- Disconnect two fuel hoses from fuel delivery module.
- Remove six screws attaching fuel delivery module and remove fuel delivery module from fuel tank.
- Remove fuel delivery module cover.
- Remove pressure regulator from fuel pump.
