Window Regulator: Installation

Install glass guide.
1. Position glass guide as originally installed through access hole.
2. Install three nut loosely.

Install power window regulator assembly
1. Position power window regulator assembly as originally installed through access hole.
2. Install seven mounting nuts.
  Tighten seven mounting nuts to 78~113 lb-in (9~13 N.m, 90~130 kg-cm)

3. Connect electrical connector for power window motor.
Install window glass.
1. Position glass carefully. Hold glass from both its inner and outer surfaces, and while tilting it toward hinge side of door, place it on small bracket on power window regulator assembly.
2. Install two glass mounting bolts on power window regulator assembly loosely.
3. Reconnect window operating switch.
4. Connect negative battery cable.
5. Turn ignition on and move glass up and down to ensure proper function.
6. Make adjustments as necessary.

7. Turn ignition "OFF"
8. Disconnect negative battery cable.
9. Tighten two glass mounting bolts on power window regulator assembly.
  Tighten two mounting bolts to 17~26 lb-in (2~3 N.m, 20~30 kg-cm)
Install run channel.

Install plastic door screen.

1. Fasten plastic door screen as originally installed.
2. Pull out electrical harness connector from plastic door screen.
3. Pull out two control rods for inside door handle from plastic door screen.
Install pull handle bracket with one mounting screws.

Install door trim.
