Fuel Filler Pipe: Removal
WARNING:
Fuel is explosive. When working on fuel system make sure to supply adequate ventilation to the work area. Do not smoke, and keep sparks and open flames away.
- Open fuel filler door.
- Remove filler cap.
- Remove two upper mounting screws from fuel filler pipe assembly.
- Remove two bolts and two fasteners and remove splash shield from left rear wheel well.
- Raise vehicle.
- Remove two bolts attaching fuel filler pipe assembly to vehicle sub-frame.
- Loosen clamps and remove fuel filler pipe assembly from joint hose.
