Monitor Scantool Data

  1. Connect a scantool to the data link connector.
  2. Monitor the DTCs displayed on scantool.
  3. Are the following DTCs as well as this DTC also set?
    • DTCs related to Mass airflow sensor (MAF), Injector, Throttle position sensor (TPS), Purge control solenoid valve (PCSV)

      YES

      1. Do all repairs associated with those codes before proceeding with this procedure.

      NO

      1. Go to "INSPECTION & REPAIR " procedure.
