Throttle Body: Installation
- Replace throttle body gasket.
- Connect coolant lines to throttle body.
- Install throttle body onto dynamic chamber and tighten three bolts.
Tightening torque:
- 18 lb-ft (25 N.m, 2.6 kg-cm)
- Reconnect throttle position sensor and IAC valve connectors.
- Install intake air hose and tighten clamps.
- Connect accelerator cable.
- Reinstall accelerator cable bracket and tighten bolt.
- Verify that throttle valve is fully closed and measure accelerator cable free play.
Free play:
- 0.040-0.120 in (1.0-3.0 mm)
- Refill radiator and check coolant level.
