SRSCM (SRS Control Module): Installation
- Disconnect the negative (-) cable from battery and wait for at least three minutes.
- Remove ignition key from the vehicle.
- Install a SRSCM on the bracket with the three mounting bolts.
Tightening Torque (SRSCM Mounting Bolt): 8 ~ 10 N.m (5.9 ~ 7.4 lb.ft)
- Connect the SRSCM harness connector.
- Install the center console.
- Connect the DAB, PAB, SAB, CAB and BPT connectors.
- After installing the SRSCM, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should blink for about six times and then go off.
