Diagnostic Test Mode

  1. When an abnormality is detected in one of the sensors or actuators related with emission control, the SELF-DIAGNOSIS INDICATOR LAMP turns on.
  2. When an abnormality is detected in one of the sensors or actuators, a diagnostic trouble code corresponding to the abnormality is output.
  3. The data of ROM inside the ECM related with sensors and actuators is read by means of Hi-scan. The actuators can be controlled under certain circumstances.
