Shift Lever: Removal

  1. Remove the console under cover (A).

  2. Remove the console rear cover (A) and console assembly mounting bolts (B).

  3. Remove the console assembly (A).

  4. Remove the console upper cover (A).

  5. Remove the front console (A).

  6. Disconnect the control cable (A).

  7. Disconnect the sports mode connector (A).

  8. Remove the shift lever assembly (A).
    NOTE: Loosen the two bolts of both side linkage (B).

  9. Remove the retainer and nuts.
    NOTE: In case, remove the crush pad and cowl cross bar. (refer to BODY (INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR) and HEATER UNIT )
  10. Remove the control cable assembly from the transaxle. (Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE )
  11. Remove the control cable.
