Seat Track Position Sensor: Installation

CAUTION: Ensure that the harness is installed and routed properly to prevent damage to the wiring.

Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
Install the STPS with two screws.

Install the front seat assembly. Refer to SEAT .
Reconnect the battery negative cable.
After installing the Seat Track Position Sensor, confirm proper system operation:
Turn the ignition switch ON, the SRS indicator should be turned on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
