DTC P1692 Immobilizer Lamp Error: General Description

The driver is informed about successful authentication by immobilizer lamp at cluster. The lamp is "ON" after successful authentication until the detection of minimum engine speed for ECM operation (begin of engine cranking).

After the IG ON, the Immobilizer lamp will be turned ON for 30 seconds then, goes off if the immobilizer system is O.K. In case of the immobilizer system is failed, the immobilizer lamp will be blinking for 5 times then goes off.
